NBC’s “The Voice” will return for its second season on Feb. 5 following the Superbowl. Christiana Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green will all be returning as judges for season the new season.

Each judge brought something new and interesting to the last season. Christina Aguilera, previously known as a talented vocalist, was able to inspire and train her team for better live performances

Adam Levine, known for his interesting voice contribution to Maroon 5, brought a fun and vibrant attitude to last season’s show while remaining serious with his team. He pushed for vocalists that showed uniqueness during the blind audition portion of the competition, ultimately leading to the victory of season winner Javier Colon.

Blake Shelton, a strong country singer with a smooth southern sound, inspired both country vocalists and soulful singers to reach out of the comfort zones. Shelton’s guidance transformed competitor Dia Frampton from a shy girl to a confident vocalist.

Cee Lo Green, best known for his chart-topping songs and his contributions to Gnarls Barkley, led a team that consisted of edgy singers and performers. Green pushed their level of performance over the edge when he choreographed each of his vocalists’ songs.

This season, viewers can expect more of a competitive nature as Green, Aguilera and Shelton strive to redeem themselves from their loss to Levine last season.
