Nolos Pushes for Student Humor Writers in Latest Issue

Aurora University’s Literary Magazine, “Nolos”, is looking for new student submissions for this semester’s issue.

This upcoming issue features Humor as the central overarching theme, though the magazine Nolos is looking broadly for short pieces of fiction, non-fiction, and one act plays from all corners of the student body.

These submission should be up to 3,000 words in length, limited to one submission per category per person, as well as poetry submissions up to 4 pages in length, limited to five submissions per person.

While primarily a literary magazine, Nolos also accepts Art and Photography, though they are looking for black and white pieces only, and will only accept five submissions per individual.

“Not only is it fun to participate and to meet other writers, but being published in any literary magazine is a positive  addition to any resume,” says Sam Dungey, Senior Public Relations Officer for Nolos.

please submit all submissions and inquiries to nolos@aurora.edu, including your name and the title of your submissions in the body of the email.

Please attach all written pieces as a Microsoft Word document, and all images as a JPEG.

All submissions are due by October 10th, so don’t wait to submit!
