87 Register to Become Bone Marrow Donors

Aurora, Ill.- Eighty seven AU students and employees registered to become marrow donors during the bone marrow registration drive held in Dunham Hall this past Thursday. The drive benefited the Be the Match Foundation, a national marrow registry, and Lifesource Blood Center. Drive co-sponsors were the university’s Phillips Library, the campus Student Nurses’ Association, Gamma Phi Omega sorority, Black Student Union and Mu Sigma Pi, a healthcare student-service club.
